Ricky Lynn Fischer, 41, of Springfield, Mo., died Saturday, Nov. 12, 2005, as the result of a homicide on Interstate 44 east of Springfield.

He was born Dec. 15, 1963, in Cape Girardeau, son of Delbert Ray and Linda Long Fischer.

Fischer was a car detailer in the Springfield area.

Survivors include a daughter, Jennifer Fischer of Columbia, Mo.; his father of Texas; a brother, Edward Crites of Cape Girardeau; and stepfather Lou Crites of Jackson.

Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Cook Cemetery in Scopus, Mo., with the Rev. Steven Sander officiating.

Liley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
