CANALOU -- Rickie C. Drake Sr., 39, of Canalou died Tuesday, July 8, 1997, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

He was born July 25, 1957, at Dexter, son of Doyle Eugene and Mary Frances Carter Drake. He and Kay LaDon Pierce were married Sept. 24, 1986, at Matthews.

Drake was employed in sales and management at Kay's Corner Convenience Store.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Rickie Drake II and Doyle Drake of the home; three daughters, Tracey and Jessica LaRue of Canalou, Sarah Drake of the home; his mother of Canalou; a brother, Joe Drake of New Madrid; two sisters, Barbara Polk and Debra Schuerenberg of Canalou.

He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Sikeston after 5 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Dean Wallace officiating. Burial will be in Matthews City Cemetery.
