ESSEX, Mo. -- Graveside service with military rites for Richmond W. Ward of Essex will be held at 10 a.m. today at Essex Cemetery. The Rev. Chuck Clark will officiate.
Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Mo., is in charge of arrangements.
Ward, 77, died Sunday, Oct. 22, 2000, at Dexter Memorial Hospital in Dexter, Mo.
He was born July 14, 1923, in Page, Okla., son of Ivan W. and Annie E. King Ward.
Ward was formerly of Bloomfield, moving to Essex a few years ago. He was a retired carpenter. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include a sister, Ada Murawski of Mena, Ark.
