SIKESTON -- Richard Woodard, 41, died Saturday, June 19, 1999, at the Dexter Memorial Hospital, after an apparent heart attack.
He was born Oct. 6, 1957, at Cape Girardeau, son of Otis and Dathel Woodard. He and Anne Recker were married March 15, 1997.
Woodard was employed as a printer for Missouri Delta Medical Center and was a part-time clerk at the Short Stop on Linn Drive.
He was a member of the Sikeston Elks and currently served as Loyal Knight. He was also a member of the Eagles Club.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Christopher Michael Woodard of Poplar Bluff; a daughter, Adalyn Danille Woddard of East Prairie; a brother, Robin Woodard of Sikeston; and a sister, Barbara Newman of Sikeston.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home. An Elks service is scheduled for 7.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Carl Britt officiating. Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie.
