McBRIDE -- Richard A. Wingerter, 61, of McBride died Tuesday, Nov. 17, 1998, at Perry County Memorial Hospital. He was born Dec. 6, 1936, at Claryville, son of William J. and Mildred Dallas Wingerter. Wingerter was a crain operator with Illinois Sand Co. in Chester for 35 years...

McBRIDE -- Richard A. Wingerter, 61, of McBride died Tuesday, Nov. 17, 1998, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

He was born Dec. 6, 1936, at Claryville, son of William J. and Mildred Dallas Wingerter.

Wingerter was a crain operator with Illinois Sand Co. in Chester for 35 years.

Survivors include a son, Scott Wingerter of Perryville; three brothers, Dale, Lester and Norman Wingerter of Perryville; five sisters, Norma Galloway and Edna Colin of Perryville, June Vinson of Frohna, Rose Diekamp of O'Fallon, Joan Buchheit of St. Charles; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville from 6-9 p.m. today, and Friday from 6:30 a.m. until service time.

Funeral will be at 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Nativity of Blessed Virgin Mary Cemetery at Belgique.
