Richard Trask Sr., 58, of Belleville, Ill., died Monday, June 25, 2007, at his home.
He was born June 14, 1949, in St. Louis, son of Dennis and Leatha Arwood Trask.
Trask was a member of the Eagles Aerie, Steel Workers Union and was the lead rifle major in Black Knights Drum and Bugle Corps.
He served with the National Guard.
Survivors include a son, Richard Trask Jr. of Red Bud, Ill.; a stepdaughter, Stacey Ennis of Wood River, Ill.; a sister, Kathleen Spalding of Belleville; a half brother, Michael Trask of Merrimack, N.H.; a stepbrother, Fred Finney; two stepsisters, Sarah Finney Webb of McClure, Ill., Susie Finney Greenwood of Cape Girardeau; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lorimier Cemetery.
Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
