Richard Robinson

Richard A. "Dick" Robinson, 77, retired Navy Lt. Cmdr., Medical Service Corps, died Thursday, Sept. 29, 2011, at the Armed Forces Retirement Home in Washington, D.C.

He is the beloved husband of 57 years of Corrine Robinson; loving father of twins, Steven (Karla) Robinson, Debra (Patrick) Thompson, Richard M. "Rob" Robinson; brother of the Rev. James R. (Judith) Robinson, Jane (Paul) Bolin; grandfather of Stephanie and Christopher Robinson, Kelly and Katherine "Katie" Jones, Brian, Kevin and Jason Robinson.

Funeral service will be at 9 a.m. Dec. 29, 2011, at Fort Myer Post Chapel, Fort Myer, Va. Interment with full military honors will be in Arlington National Cemetery.

Rapp Funeral Home in Silver Spring, Md., is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Armed Forces Retirement Home, 3700 N. Capital St. N.W., Washington, D.C. 20011, Attention: Resident Fund.
