Richard Alan Reed II, 35, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Aug. 19, 2019, at home.
He was born March 29, 1984, in Cape Girardeau to Richard Alan and Cheryl Lynn Johnson Reed.
Ricky was a graduate of Cape Girardeau Central High School.
He served in the Navy.
He worked for Rubbermaid, Ashley Furniture, Ole Hickory Pits, Rust & Martin, Michael Tanner and VanMatre Buick GMC Cadillac. He did lawn care at Cape Girardeau Country Club and Dalhousie.
Survivors include his father, Richard A. Reed of Cape Girardeau; mother, Cheryl Lynn Reed of Jackson; four sons, Logan Daniel, Lucas Adam, Gavin Woodard and Liam Evan Reed; two daughters, Paige Madison Reed and Breanna Kay Stafford; two sisters, Rachel (Todd Brooks) Reed and Roma (David) Scroggins, both of Jackson; niece, Sierra Brooks of Jackson; three nephews, Ridge, David Jr. and Tytus Scroggins, all of Jackson; lifelong friend and brother from another mother, Adam Monroe; and many wonderful friends with loving memories.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau, with the Rev. Kevin Rhodes officiating.
Memorial contributions may be given to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
