RICHARD MCCLARNEY

Richard Lamonte McClarney, Ph.D., 57, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, June 5, 2001, at his home.

He was born March 3, 1944, in Decatur, Ala., son of Richard and Elizabeth Newlin McClarney. He and Renelda Franklin were married Oct. 24, 1964, at Silver Lake, Mo.

McClarney was a retired health care administrator. He was a fellow in the American College of Health Care Executives.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Eric Schroeder of Cedar Creek, Texas; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel.
