Richard P. Klasing, 66, of Indianapolis, Ind., died Thursday, Oct. 29, 1998.
He was born Feb. 18, 1932, in St. Louis, son of Harry and Janet Mackenzie Klasing.
Klasing was a 1959 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University.
He worked 29 years at Chrysler Corp., retiring in 1991. He was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church, Indiana Organ Procurement Organization, and National Kidney Foundation of Indiana. He was president of Sharing Hearts Support Group.
Klasing served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Anita; two daughters, Laura Klasing of Indiana, Leslie Klasing of Illinois; a son, John Klasing of Illinois; two brothers, Hugh Klasing of Missouri, David Klasing of Wisconsin; and a grandson.
Friends may call at Shirley Brothers Castleton Chapel in Indianapolis from 2-8 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the chapel, with burial in Oaklawn Cemetery.
