RICHARD G. CLAAR

Funeral service for Richard G. Claar, 419 Louis, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. The Rev. John Vorce will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.

Claar, 16, died Monday, May 23, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He was born June 10, 1977, in Mt. Vernon, Ill., son of Eddie A. and Sharon S. Lowery Claar. He was a ninth grade student at Central Junior High School, and was employed at Hardee's. Claar was a member of Cape Girardeau Church of God and its youth group.

Survivors include his parents; three brothers, Edwin Jr., Robert and Walter Claar of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Buffy Arbeiter of Cape Girardeau; maternal grandparents, Paul and Dorothy Lowery of Bluford, Ill., and paternal grandmother, Darcie Williams of Advance.
