Richard F. "Dick" Davis, 75, of Cape Girardeau passed away Friday, May 21, 2010, at his home.
He was born March 14, 1935, in Southern Illinois, to Grover and Ethel Burnell Davis. He and Shirley Romine were married in November 1957.
Dick was an avid golfer and loved antique cars.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Jeni Wallace of St. Louis, Darla (Jim) Edmonds of Glenallen, Mo.; a grandson, R.V. Davis-Boren of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Milford (Jean) Davis of Elco, Ill.; many special nephews and nieces; and great friends at the coffee shop.
He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers and a sister.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Crain Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with Joe McCullough officiating. Interment will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Leukemia Society or Bollinger County Stray Project and will be accepted at the funeral home.
