KELSO, Mo. -- Richard Lee Dannenmueller, 64, of Kelso died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2017, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born May 20, 1953, in Cape Girardeau to Leroy Joseph and Mary Elizabeth "Liz" Heisserer Dannenmueller.
Richard worked for Sulfridge Painting in Memphis, Tennessee, and was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso.
He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam conflict.
He is survived by four sons, Matthew (Millie) Dannenmueller of Benton, Missouri, Richard "Freddie" (Donna) Themm of Chaffee, Missouri, Robert (Morgan) Dannenmueller of Columbia, Missouri, and Jeremy (Martina) Dannenmueller of Chaffee; three brothers, Donald (Deborah) Dannenmueller, Cletus (Tina) Dannenmueller and Dale (Mary) Dannenmueller of Kelso; a sister, Lynn (Oral) Payne of Kelso; and seven grandchildren, Benjamin, Nicholaus, Madeleine, Ryan, Eric, Jacob and Kaden.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a child; a brother, Bobby; and a sister, Mary.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. Parish prayers will be at 7 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso, with the Rev. Joe Weidenbenner as celebrant.
