CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Richard A. Chesher, 60, of Chaffee passed away Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2014, at Chaffee Nursing Center.

He was born Oct. 26, 1953, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Joseph and Mary Roberts Chesher. He and Darlene Ballard were married Feb. 27, 2004.

Richard was an electrician with Harwell Electric Co. prior to becoming disabled. He was of the Catholic belief.

Survivors include his wife, Darlene Chesher of Chaffee; his mother, Mary Chesher of Louisville; a son, Cory Chesher of Edgewater, Florida; a daughter, Kyla Chesher of Edgewater, Florida; and a brother, Tommy Chesher of Louisville.

He was preceded in death by his father and a sister.

There is no service.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee is in charge of arrangements.
