ALTO PASS, Ill. -- Richard Boone, 55, of Alto Pass, died Wednesday, Jan. 25, 1995, at his home.

He was born May 11, 1939, near Cobden, son of Alvin and Cleo Neighbors Boone. He and Janene Marks were married Oct. 30, 1959, in Alto Pass.

Boone was a carpenter.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Daniel Boone of Alto Pass; three daughters, Christie Peebles of Alto Pass, Carole Jordan of Caseyville, Carala Hickam of Murphysboro; his parents of Anna; a sister, Alice Zeschke of Dongola, and four grandchildren.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Alto Pass after 6 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Donald Grammer officiating. Burial will be in Alto Pass Cemetery.
