Richard Craig Bomar, 50, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Aug. 21, 2006, at his home.
He was born March 20, 1956, in Greenville, S.C., son of Richard Harrison and Dora Dean Shelby Bomar. He and Donna Patricia Stevenson Smith were married Oct. 17, 2005.
Bomar lived in the Blodgett, Mo., area most of his life, moving to Cape Girardeau five years ago. He was manger of a convenience store.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Rick Bomar of Cape Girardeau; his parents of Cape Girardeau; two stepdaughters, April James and Julia Smith of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Alice Bomar and Susan McDaniel of Herrin, Ill; a granddaughter; and a stepgrandson.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at IOOF Cemetery in Charleston, Mo. The Missouri Military Honors Program will provide military rites.
McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston is in charge of arrangements.
