Funeral service for the Rev. Paul A. Aldrich of St. Louis will be held at 1 p.m. today at Overland Church of the Nazarene. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Baumann Colonial Chapel in Overland is in charge of arrangements.
Aldrich, 67, died Tuesday, May 14, 1996, at St. Anthony's Medical Center.
A native of Webster Groves, he was a graduate of Ritenour High School and Bethany Nazarene College. He worked at McDonnell-Douglas from 1953-65. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II and the Korean War.
Aldrich was pastor of the Nazarene Church in Cape Girardeau from 1971-76, during which time the congregation moved from the corner of Park and Merriwether to its current location on Independence.
He also pastored Missouri churches in Ballwin, Malden, Springfield and Fenton, and in Troy, Ohio, and Corpus Christi, Texas. He retired in 1992.
Survivors include his wife, the former Dorothy Wilson; a daughter, Paula Pletcher of Cape Girardeau; a son, Bradley Aldrich of Washington, D.C.; a brother, Rev. Robert Aldrich of Eldon; a sister, Helen Schoenborn of Florissant, and two grandchildren.
