PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- The Rev. Henry D. Staggs, 75, of Perryville died Monday, Nov. 13, 2000, at his home.
He was born Feb. 25, 1925, in Dyer County, Tenn., son of Willie Samuel and Rosie Belle Tidwell Staggs. He and Brenda L. Boland were married July 5, 1979, at Jackson, Mo.
Staggs was a retired Pentecostal minister. He also worked at International Shoe Co., and was a driver with Meyer Bus Line six years.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Linda Hall of Sedgewickville, Mo., Sonya Staggs and Debbie Roberts of Perryville; four sons, David Staggs of Vancouver, Wash., John and Stephen Staggs of Perryville, Dennis Staggs of Chicago; a brother, Junior Staggs of Ridgely, Tenn.; a sister, Roberta Cagle of Ridgely; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, two brothers, two sisters, and a grandchild.
Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today, and Thursday from 6:30 a.m. until service time.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Donnie Henson officiating. Burial will be in Saline Baptist Church Cemetery at Minnith, Mo.
