SCOTT CITY -- Funeral service for the Rev. Henry Roger Carbaugh of Scott City will be held at 1:30 p.m. today at Christian Faith Fellowship. The Rev. Earl Cox will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park.

Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau is in charge of arrangements.

Carbaugh, 67, died Wednesday, Aug. 12, 1992, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He was born Jan. 8, 1925, at Chaffee, son of Theodore and Zora Hood Carbaugh. He and Arnell Estes were married Nov. 7, 1953, at Scott City.

Carbaugh was a Boy Scout executive in Cape Girardeau and Paducah, Ky., 10 years, and worked at Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. 10 years. In 1976 he founded and was pastor of Christian Faith Fellowship.

He served in the U.S. Navy from 1943-45, and in the U.S. Army from 1947-50.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Mark Carbaugh of Scott City, David Carbaugh of Houston, Texas; a daughter, Robin Carbaugh of Houston; a brother, Harry Carbaugh of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Rosemarion Miller of Bethlehem, Pa., Marceline Hill of Houston, and three grandchildren.
