Funeral Mass for the Rev. Francis L. Seyer of Waterloo, Ill., will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Waterloo. Bishop Wilton Gregory and the Rev. James Seyer will officiate.
Friends may call at the church from 4-9 p.m. today, and Friday from 10 a.m.-9 p.m. The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today and Friday.
Quernheim Funeral Home in Waterloo is in charge of arrangements.
A committal service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Cemetery.

Seyer, 70, died Tuesday, March 3, 1998, at his home.
He was born May 19, 1927, in Cape Girardeau, son of Joseph J. and Pauline Dohogne Seyer.
Seyer was parish priest at Sts. Peter and Paul Church. He had also been associate pastor at St. Elizabeth Church in East St. Louis, Ill.; and pastor at Marydale, Valmeyer and Germantown, Ill.
Survivors include three sisters, Sister M. Clovis of St. Louis, Irma Lappe of Cape Girardeau, Delphine Longinette of St. Charles; five brothers, Mark Seyer of East Cape Girardeau, Ill., Oscar Seyer of Jackson, the Rev. James, Vincent and Joseph Seyer, all of Cape Girardeau.
He was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.
