The Rev. Dallas Willard Williams, 69, of Brookfield, Mo., died Thursday, Oct. 5, 2006, at Pershing Memorial Hospital in Brookfield.
He was born July 3, 1937, in Hayti, Mo., son of Dallas and Ruth Lincoln Williams. He and Betty Hardin were married July 2, 1960.
Williams served as minister at Bellflower Bible Chapel in Bellflower, Mo., Open Door Baptist Church in St. Charles, Mo., First Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau, Grace Baptist and Bible Baptist Churches in Brookfield.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and served in the 101st Airborne Division.
Survivors include his wife; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Kent and Michelle Williams of Clinton, Mo., Todd Williams of Marceline, Mo., Greg and Robin Williams of Brookfield; his mother, Ruth Patton of Glenallen, Mo.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Willis and Virginia Williams of Greenville, Mo., Jerry and Anna Williams of Chaffee, Mo.; a sister and brother-in-law, Karen and John Hays of Dexter, Mo.; four grandchildren, Ryan and Sara Williams of Brookfield, Riley and Kirby Williams of Clinton.
He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Betty June Williams.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Wright-Baker-Hill Funeral Home in Brookfield.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Bible Baptist Church in Brookfield, with the Rev. Russell Bode officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Brookfield.
