Graveside service for Reginald F. Gerhardt of St. Louis will be held at 10 a.m. today at Memorial Park. The Rev. Scott Lohse will officiate.
There is no visitation.
Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Gerhardt, 82, died Thursday, Aug. 7, 1997, at Deaconess West Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born May 1, 1915, in Cape Girardeau County, son of Julius William and Rosalee Woeltje Gerhardt.
Gerhardt worked in construction more than 40 years, and had been a partner in Gerhardt Construction. He was a member of Zion United Methodist Church, and VFW Post in Perryville. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Survivors include a daughter, Deborah Duncan of St. Louis; two brothers, Kermit Gerhardt of Cape Girardeau, William Gerhardt of South Carolina; two sisters, Sally Clayton of Cape Girardeau, Bettye Boyd of Joplin; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
