ST. CHARLES, Mo. -- Regina Rosella Bruenderman, 98, passed away peacefully Monday, March 25, 2019, at Mount Caramel Senior Living in St. Charles.
Born Sept 10, 1920, the daughter of the late Alfred Carlisle and the late Bernetta Telker Carlisle, Regina lived most of her life in Charleston, Missouri. July 4, 1939, she married Edward Joseph Bruenderman, who preceded her in death June 12, 1991.
She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella, St. Francis Xavier Circle of Sikeston, Missouri, and a lifelong member of St. Henry's Church in Charleston. She lived her life not only the much-loved caregiver and homemaker of her family but also of others, both young and old.
She is the dear mother of Mary Jane (Ed) Hart, Richard (Mary Ellen) Bruenderman, Rita (late Nick) Farber, Fred (Sharon Faye) Bruenderman and Regina "Jeannie" (Dr. Rodney) Moxley and is beloved by 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. Saturday at St. Henry's Catholic Church.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery in Charleston.
