COBDEN, Ill. -- Regina Baggott, 90, of Urbana, Ill., formerly of Cobden, died Saturday, Feb. 18, 2006, at Provena Covenant Medical Center in Urbana.
She was born June 27, 1915, in Cobden, daughter of Jacob and Elizabeth Stegle Basler. She and Ford E. Baggott were married on Aug. 23, 1937, in Cobden. He died June 30, 1991.
Baggott was a member of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Cobden.
Survivors include two sons, Donald Baggott of Cheboygan, Mich. and David Baggott of Champaign, Ill.; a daughter, Rebecca Morgan of Anna, Ill.; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter, a great-great-grandson, two sisters and five brothers.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Cobden. A rosary service will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Cobden, with Father Federico Higuera officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
