REBECCA `BECKY' GAY MCDOWELL CHAPPIUS

PERRYVILLE -- Rebecca "Becky" Gay McDowell Chappius, 40, of Perryville died Friday, Sept. 12, 1997, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

She was born June 5, 1957, at Marion, Ky., daughter of Rodolph R. and Katie M. Hargrove McDowell.

She was a factory technician at TG USA in Perryville. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church at Perryville.

She married Donald J. Chappius on Dec. 30, 1976.

Survivors include her father; her husband; two sons, Joseph Michael and Michael Vincent Chappius, both of the home; a stepdaughter, Terri Green of Perryville; six brothers, Hershel McDowell of Marion, Ky., John, Thomas and David McDowell of Cedar Hill, Steve McDowell of Fort Leonard Wood and Randy McDowell of Arnold; two sisters, Romona Moore of Marion and Roberta Woodard of Cedar Hill; and a grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

Friends may call from 3-9 p.m. today and from 6:30-9:40 a.m. Monday at Young & Sons Chapel in Perryville.

A Catholic wake will be held at 7 tonight at the funeral home.

Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

The Revs. Kevin Fausz and Willis Darling will officiate, with burial at Mount Hope Cemetery.
