SIKESTON -- R.B. Oliver, 82, of Memphis, Tenn., died Friday, Nov. 19, 1999, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis.
He was born Jan. 15, 1917, in Sikeston, son of Roy Bascum and Vergie Sisco Oliver. He and Wilma Moore were married May 7, 1939.
Oliver had been a self-employed painting contractor.

Survivors include his wife; three sisters, Thelma Clark of Edwardsville, Ill., Maxine Shain and Welva Keller of Springfield.
Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with Dr. Jim Guffie officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
