RAYMOND ZIEGERT

FISK -- Raymond William Ziegert, 74, of Fisk died Friday, Jan. 3, 1997, at the Veterans Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

He was born Jan. 29, 1922, in Chicago, son of William and Clara Ziegert. He had worked as a warehouse loader for Bowman Dairy. He married Mabel Olson on March 20, 1943, in Chicago. She survives.

He is also survived by two sons, Dennis Ziegert of St. Charles, Ill., and Raymond Ziegert Jr. of Fisk; three daughters, Suzanne Lindvig of Cape Girardeau, Barbara Ziegert of Elgin, Ill., and Sherrie Burnett of Fisk; a sister, Lorraine Kardatzke McFarlane, Wis.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today at Ford & Sons Funeral Home on Sprigg Street in Cape Girardeau. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Barry Pfanstiel officiating. Burial will be in Mounds Veteran Cemetery in Mounds, Ill.
