DEXTER -- Raymond Valentine, 83, of Malden, died Saturday, Nov. 26, 1994, at Dexter Memorial Hospital.

He was born Nov. 2, 1911, in Townley, son of John H. and Ada Palmer Valentine. He and Thelma Armada Vails were married Aug. 29, 1939, at Tallapoosa.

He was a retired farmer and employee of Malden Wholesale and had been a lifelong resident of Bernie and Malden. He was affiliated with the Pentecostal church.

Survivors include his wife and other relatives and friends.

Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday in the Watkins & Sons chapel with the Rev. Maxwell Lewis of Bernie officiating. Burial will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.
