Raymond E. Roth, 83, of Oak Ridge entered his heavenly home Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2015, at Jackson Manor in Jackson.
He was born June 29, 1932, in Old Appleton, the son of Gottfried and Bertha Mueller Roth. He and Lorna E. Reisenbichler were married Oct. 6, 1956. She survives in Oak Ridge.
He had been a farmer. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Uniontown, Missouri, and American Legion Post 133. He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean conflict.
Other survivors include one son, David (Karen) Roth of Oak Ridge; three daughters, Bonnie (Roger) Seabaugh of Oak Ridge, Susan (Keith) Davis of Perryville, Missouri, and Mary (Josh) Reisenbichler of Jackson; 10 grandchildren, Jennifer (Andy) Spieler, Courtney Seabaugh, Robert (Erin) Davis, Nathan (Ashley) Davis, Anna Davis, Jessica (Cory) Brethold, Scott Reisenbichler, Alisha Reisenbichler, and Lydia and Myra Roth; and six great-granddaughters, Claire, Addison, Charlotte, Ella and Macy Davis and Emma Spieler.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Norman Roth; and one sister, Mildred Pohlman.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 6:30 to 8 a.m. Friday at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Grace Lutheran Church in Uniontown, with the Rev. Paul Winningham officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with military graveside honors provided by American Legion Post 133 and the Missouri Honors Team.
Memorials are preferred to KFUO Radio, Grace Lutheran Church or Saxony Lutheran High School.
