ST. LOUIS -- Raymond E. "Jake" Meyer, 85, of St. Louis died Saturday, July 13, 2019, at Delmar Gardens South.
He was born July 5, 1934, in Apple Creek, Missouri, to Ignatius and Louisa Schloss Meyer.
He served in the U.S. Army.
He worked as a union plumber.
Survivors include a nephew and several nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and three brothers.
Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Apple Creek.
Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with the Rev. Jim French officiating. Burial, with full military honors, will be at St. Michael's Cemetery in Apple Creek.
