JONESBORO, Ill. -- Raymond "Speedy" McLane, 60, Jonesboro Route 1, died Thursday, Oct. 10, 1991, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born June 10, 1931, at Wolf Lake, son of Perry Cletus and Mary Rosetta Eudy McLane. He married the former Geraldine Mayberry Feb. 14, 1954.
McLane worked in the maintenance department at Transcraft Corp. in Anna. He was a member of Valley Mission Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Raymond and James McLane of Jonesboro, Cletus McLane of West Paducah, Ky.; a brother, Henry McLane of Charlotte, Mich., three sisters, Jean King and Pat Parrent of Michigan, Clara Dobbs of Cahokia, Ill., and eight grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held today at 1:30 p.m. at Norris and Son Funeral Chapel in Jonesboro. The Revs. Herbert Wilson and Bobby Mayberry will officiate, with burial in Valley Mission Cemetery.
