ANNA, Ill. -- Graveside service for Raymond A. Jett of Anna, formerly of Mill Creek, will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at St. John's Cemetery.
Masonic rites will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Hileman and Parr Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
Jett, 86, died Monday, Aug. 4, 1997, at Illinois Veterans Home in Anna.
He was born Feb. 3, 1911, in Donnellson, son of Emery and Martha Jett. He and Helen Louise Dodson were married Sept. 5, 1942, in Elgin. She died Oct. 9, 1986.
Jett had been a truck driver with Brady Mix Concrete in St. Charles, Ill. He was a member of Teamsters Union, member and past master of Jonesboro Masonic Lodge. He was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include two daughters, Bernice Apple of Rock Falls, Virginia Jones of Jonesboro; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
