Ray Fiehler, 83, of St. Louis died Saturday, Feb. 14, 2015.
Ray was born Jan 9, 1932, in Wittenburg, Missouri, to the late George and Oneida Mangels Fiehler.
Fiehler graduated Perryville (Missouri) High School and then entered the Navy. Once his service was completed with the Navy, Fiehler attended Rolla School of Mines and graduated with a BS in mechanical engineering, which he practiced throughout his career. Ray loved life and people, and will always be remembered for his stories and laughter.
He is survived by his children, Nikki (Tom) Lemley, Eric Fiehler and Ingrid Burnett; his grandchildren, Margo and Jacob Lemley and Emily and Grace Burnett; a sister, Dorthea Militzer; and three brothers, Harlan, George and Edgar Fiehler.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings.
A life celebration in honor of the maestro himself will be from 1 to 4 p.m. May 16 at Llywelyn's Pub, 17 W. Moody Ave., Webster Groves, MO 63119. Please bring photos and stories to share.
