JACKSON -- Raymond Eaker, 89, of Jackson died July 28, 1994 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. He was born in Glen Allen Mo. Aug. 29, 1904 to George F. Eaker and Ida McGregor. He married Lillie Marie Mouser Aug. 4, 1926 at Glen Allen. She preceded him in death Jan. 14, 1991. Survivors include four sons, Verlee Eaker of Anna, Ill., Willie "Bill" Eaker of Laguna Beach, Florida, James Dewayne Eaker of Anna, and Gary Eaker of Jackson. He has four daughters, Mary Wanda Hess of Advance, Dimble Wiseman of Jackson, Erma Lee Smith of Cape Girardeau and Linda Seabaugh of St. Charles, as well as one sister, Selesta Fisher of Marion, Ill., 22 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchilrden, and one sister. He was a farmer in Scott County, retiring in 1961 when he moved to Jackson. He was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Jackson. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, July 31, 1994 at First General Baptist Church with Rev. Luther Rhodes officiating. Namon Eaker will assist Rhodes at the service.
Burial will be at the Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday.
