DEXTER -- Raymond C. Billingsley, 80, of Lowndes, died Monday, May 1, 1995, at his home.
He was born June 10, 1914, in Bay County, Mich., son of Ivan and Bertha Wildy Billingsley. He and Dorothy M. Rogers were married Feb. 11, 1939, in Gladwin County, Mich.
Billingsley had lived in Missouri 51 years, and at Lowndes the past 19 years. He was a retired self-employed mechanic, and member of Community Church of Christ in Lowndes.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Curt Billingsley of Dexter, Terry and Rick Billingsley of Lowndes; a daughter, Sandra Knight of Lowndes; a brother, Ivan Billingsley of Del Rio, Texas; a sister, Pearl Root of Montrose, Mich.; 13 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter after 6 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Community Church of Christ in Lowndes. The Revs. Lewis Rogers, Jack Rogers and Dale Rogers will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
