KELSO, Mo. -- Raymond Herman Arnzen, 82, of Kelso died Monday, Sept. 27, 2010, at Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee, Mo.
He was born Aug. 13, 1928, in St. Louis, to Frank Felix and Minnie Mae Eftink Arnzen. He married Joella Eileen Beal Aug. 18, 1956, in Cape Girardeau.
Arnzen was an inspector at McDonnell Douglas Aircraft in St. Louis, and a line operator at Procter & Gamble. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Joella; a son, Rick (Brenda) Arnzen of Kelso; a sister, Dorothy Glaus of Chaffee; three grandchildren, Amanda Slater, Jessica Hann, Nathan Arnzen; and two great-grandchildren, Kyli and Breanna Slater.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Arnzen; and two sisters, Mary Menz and Marcella Troxclair.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. Parish prayers will be at 7.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Augustine Church, with the Rev. Normand Varone as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Augustine Cemetery with military honors.
