JACKSON -- Funeral service for Rayburn Martin Poole of Boonville, Miss., will be held at 3 p.m. today at McMillan Funeral Home in Boonville.

Poole, 67, died Wednesday, Sept. 20, 1995, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.

He was born Nov. 30, 1927, in Guy, Ark., son of Marvin and Erma Bess Glover Poole. He married the former Essie Garrett.

Poole lived in Jackson 22 years before moving to Boonville. He was a self-employed insurance adjuster, and member of Jumpertown United Methodist Church. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Holly Cuoco of Springfield, Jan Malaqui of Hawaii, Beth Laves of Bowling Green, Ky., Bobbie Venable of Jackson; a stepson, Donald Windham; five brothers, Marvin, Hoyet, Jimmy, Jerry and Larry Poole; six sisters, Robbie Gordon, Bessie Gill, Patsy Hullet, Betty Williams, Gaylon Poole, Deborah Lormand, and nine grandchildren.
