JACKSON -- Ray Yamnitz, 51, of Route 4, Jackson, died Tuesday, April 14, 1992, at the farm he owns in Bollinger County.
He was born Aug. 4, 1940 in Perry County, son of Frederick and Hazel Shrum Yamnitz.
He married Sarah Nash on May 18, 1962. She survives.
Other survivors are three daughters, Jill Haynie of Orlando, Fla., Sharon Rush of Jackson and Karen Yamnitz of Jackson; three brothers, Dalvin Yamnitz and Elvon Yamnitz of Perryville and Alva Yamnitz of St. Louis; one sister, Viola Sharp of Indianapolis, Ind. and four grandchildren.
He was an electrician and a member of the local chapter of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. For the past 10 years he had worked for the Electric Supply Company of Cape Girardeau.
Friends may call today from 4-8 p.m. at the McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson. Funeral service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Howard Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery.
