SIKESTON -- Funeral service for Ray Webb will be held at 1 p.m. today at Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The Rev. Lee Kirby will officiate, with burial in Doniphan Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. today.

Webb, 92, died Saturday, July 19, 1997, at Clearview Nursing Center in Sikeston.

He was born July 12, 1905, near Hartville. He first married Anna Belle Harchous in 1929 at Parma. She preceded him in death. He later married Helen Glasgow, who died May 31, 1986.

In earlier years Webb owned a radio sales and repair shop, service station and oil jobber business in Parma. After moving to Ripley County he operated a farm and owned other properties near Doniphan.

Webb served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include a brother, Lowell Webb of Sikeston; four sisters, Ethel Morgan of Branson, Alice Boyer of Sikeston, Jeanette Keasler of Mountain View, Ruby Denton of Cape Girardeau; two stepsons, Bob Glasgow of Doniphan, Bruce Glasgow of North Carolina; and a stepdaughter, Judy Jones of Michigan.
