JACKSON -- Ray W. Mouser, 74, of Jackson, died Thursday, July 29, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Jan. 26, 1919, at Glen Allen, Mo., son of Andrew Jackson and Susan Sawyer Mouser.
He married Alma Birk, Aug. 15, 1943, at Blytheville, Ark.
Mouser had been employed at Lenco in Jackson for 17 years and had been a self-employed painter for 18 years, until retiring in 1985.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Karen Ebenstein of Jackson, Susanna Noah of Jackson; a brother, Cletus Mouser of Jackson; two sisters, Lorene James of Anaheim, Calif., Odetta Seabaugh of Jackson; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded by a son, three brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at the McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson, with the Rev. Lawrence Eatherton officiating.
Burial will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
