MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Ray Robert Steger, 65, of Marble Hill passed away Thursday, Dec. 17, 2015, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Dec. 10, 1950, near Glenallen, Missouri, son of Ezra B. and Edith Pauline Parker Steger. He and Marsha Houston were united in marriage May 26, 1974.
Mr. Steger worked as a line technician for Procter & Gamble, served his country proudly in the United States Army and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Marsha; two daughters, Tina Graham and Cindy Dees, both of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Phyllis A. Moyers of Jackson; and a granddaughter, Ava Dees.
Preceding him in death were his parents; a brother, Phillip R. Steger; and a sister, Geneva E. Hamlin.
Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
The funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bob Bowen officiating. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill, with full military rites provided by the Missouri Honors Team.
