JACKSON -- Ray Loyd, 73, of Jackson, died Monday, July 20, 1992, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. He was born June 9, 1919, at Zalma, son of John Logan and Ada Ann Walker Loyd. JACKSON -- Ray Loyd, 73, of Jackson, died Monday, July 20, 1992, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born June 9, 1919, at Zalma, son of John Logan and Ada Ann Walker Loyd. He and Bernice Collins were married Feb. 25, 1939.

Loyd was a rural mail carrier 37 years, and member of Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, and a daughter, Dorothy Loyd of Jackson.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill after 4 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Carl Suddeath officiating. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.
