Randy C. Shultz, 63, passed away Monday, Nov. 1, 2021, at his home in Gordonville.

He was born Aug. 5, 1958, to Charles and Fern Peetz Shultz. He and Kimberly Brugger were married Oct. 8, 1983, at Zion United Methodist Church, west of Gordonville.

He was a 1976 graduate of Jackson High School.

Randy worked as a truck driver for several local businesses, briefly worked on the river, drove several years for Moon Distributing and Consolidated Freightways, and most recently drove 17 years for ABF in Sikeston, Missouri.

Randy was an avid reader. His interests included history, mechanics, trains, boats and biographies. He and his buddies enjoyed fishing and bow hunting together. He was a faithful supporter of the St. Louis Cardinals, often listening to the radio and the television for each game.

Loving survivors include his wife, Kim Shultz of Gordonville; daughters and their families, Nickole (Brandon) Craig and son, Case, of Jackson; Kacey (Blaine) Davis, and their daughters, Ali and Kaydee, and sons, Jack and Noah; and Jazmin Shultz, all of Gordonville; his mother, Fern (the late Charles) Shultz of Cape Girardeau; siblings, Rick (Jan) Shultz of Jacksonville, Tennessee; Roland Shultz of O'Fallon, Missouri; and Cheryl (Scott) Rhodes of Advance, Missouri; and Kim's family, her mother, Wilma (the late Jerry) Brugger; special nephew, Ryan (Morgan) Brugger of Gordonville; and Kim's siblings, Jerry (Wendy) Brugger of San Diego, California, and Randy (LeeAnn) Brugger; and daughter, Staci Brugger of Gordonville; and many beloved nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Shultz, and his father-in-law, Jerry Brugger.

A memorial visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

In lieu of flowers, the family appreciates memorial donations to the American Cancer Society.
