SIKESTON -- E. Ralph Williams, 89, of Sikeston died Wednesday, April 8, 1998, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
He was born July 19, 1908, in White County, Ill., son of Hiram and Cassie Clark Williams. He and Nola Wade were married Aug. 18, 1929.
Williams lived in Charleston most of his life. He retired as a bookkeeper with Davis Gin Co., and had also farmed.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Scottish Rite of St. Louis; had served as worshipful master of Charleston Masonic Lodge 407 AF&AM, was high priest of Charleston Chapter 19 RAM, was cryptic mason of El Camino Council 52, and was a past worthy patron of Charleston Chapter 122 Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Betty Brock of Sikeston; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, a brother, and three sisters.
Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Rick White officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery at Sikeston.
