DEXTER, Mo. -- Ralph "Duke" Hutchcraft, 76, of St. Louis, died Monday, July 3, 2000, at Christian Northeast Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born Aug. 3, 1923, son of Oren and Flossie Bean Hutchcraft. He and Pansy Peck were married Sept. 2, 1949, in Piggott, Ark.
He has worked at Elders Manufacturing in Dexter for 19 years before moving to St. Louis where he worked as a parts technician with McDonnell Aircraft for 22 years.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife of St. Louis; three brothers, Wayne Hutchcraft and Sessell Hutchcraft, both of Dexter, and Bob Hutchcraft of Shawnee, Okla.; two sisters, Ruth Redman of Godfrey, Ill., and Mary Butler of Killeen, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. W.H. Worth officiating. Burial will be in the Dexter Cemetery.
