SCOTT CITY - Ralph Hugh Scheper, 73, of 801 Sycamore in Scott City, died Friday June 18, 1993 at St. Francis Medical Center. He was born Dec. 8, 1919 in Jackson, the son of Logan Owens and Lora Mae Jacobson Scheper.
On May 24, 1941 he married Zelma Matilda Blattel, who survives.
He was a retired machine operator with Atlas Plastics, a World War II Veteran of the U.S. Army, and a life member of the D.A.V. Cape County #16.
Also surviving are three sons, Mike and Rodney Scheper of Scott City, and Keith Scheper of Kingwood, Texas; one daughter, Janice Hahs of Kingwood; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Scott City. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. today.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral chapel, with Rev. Roger Leveillee officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Scott City.
