Ralph Carlton Headrick, 87, of Jackson passed away Thursday, May 15, 2014.

He was born Nov. 15, 1926, at Gordonville, the son of Gilbert Carlton and Lena Marie Miller Headrick. On July 17, 1948, he married Mary Belle Godwin at Jackson.

He is survived by his wife and nieces and nephews.

For many years Ralph was the owner and operator of Headrick Sinclair service station in Jackson. He later worked for the Missouri Department of Revenue in the motor fuel department and in maintenance at Southeast Hospital until retirement in 1977. During World War II he served in the Army.

He was an avid quail hunter and fisherman. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jackson and American Legion Post 158 in Jackson.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will follow at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

Memorials may be made to American Legion Post 158 or First Baptist Church of Jackson.
