COMMERCE -- Ralph G. Sander, 74, of Commerce died Sunday, Dec. 21, 1997, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born March 18, 1923, in Advance, son of John Gustav and Lucy Spraker Sander.
He married Joyce Mae Poorman Oct. 18, 1951, in Benton.
He was self-employed as a farmer and also had worked in construction. He was a veteran of the Air Force during World War II.
He was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Commerce and also VFW Post 6407 in Scott City.
Survivors are his wife; three sisters, Mamie Ledure of Commerce, Jewell Putz of Cape Girardeau and Iris Graff of Scott City.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City, with the Rev. Jim King officiating.
Burial will be at Oakdale Cemetery in Commerce.
