ULLIN, Ill. -- Ralph W.D. Dexter, 76, of Quincy, Ill., died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2001, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy.
He was born Sept. 14, 1924, in Ullin, son of Ben and Ella Mowery Dexter.
Dexter was a retired farmer, and member of Crossroad Methodist Church in Ullin.
He was a veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include a son, Duane Dexter of Lincoln, Ill.; a daughter, Glenda Brown of Chesterton, Ind.; a brother, Kenneth Dexter of Ullin; two sisters, Jeraldine Boudreau of Byron, Mich., Carol Adams of Ullin; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, a sister, a brother, and a grandson.
Friends may call at Jones Funeral Home in Tamms, Ill., from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. John Clark officiating. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens at Villa Ridge, Ill.
