SIKESTON -- Ralph Carroll, 78, of Sikeston, died Tuesday, Sept. 22, 1992, at John J. Pershing VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.
He was born Aug. 2, 1914, at Cottonwood, son of John Reeder and Emma Everett Carroll. He and Ella Louise Shuppert were married Sept. 10, 1947.
Carroll owned and operated Carroll's Florist here 35 years. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, and was past commander of Henry Meldrum American Legion Post 114.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Ralph Carroll Jr. of Albuquerque, N.M.; a brother, Jesse Carroll of Jackson, Tenn., a sister, Barbara Adkins of Saratoga, Calif., and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Charles E. Buck will officiate.
Crews-Welsh and Ponder Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
